Efficient NMP recycling system

In the production of lithium-ion batteries, N-methylpyrrolidone (NMP) is used as an organic solvent for the cathode material of lithium-ion batteries in the slurry and coating processes of the cathode. During the coating process, NMP solvent evaporates into the air in a gaseous form due to heating in the coating oven. If discharged directly, it will cause environmental pollution and waste a large amount of NMP solvent. The Denis Environment zeolite rotary adsorption NMP recovery device adopts imported zeolite rotary concentration adsorption method for deep treatment of waste gas, which has the characteristics of high efficiency, safety, environmental protection, and improving product quality. Combined with efficient and heat recovery system, it can achieve a NMP recovery rate of 99%, emission concentration lower than 6ppm, and a 50% energy saving effect on the coating machine.

 

Low concentration NMP solution evaporation and concentration system

The lithium-ion battery separator using oil-based ceramic coating process generates a large amount of low concentration NMP solvent wastewater (usually less than 30%) during the membrane coating process. Due to the low concentration of NMP content, it cannot meet the requirements of recyclers and cannot be recycled. If it is treated as hazardous waste, it still requires high treatment costs.

This system uses Deny's unique patented technology, low-temperature vacuum evaporation process, and heat pump technology, resulting in low operating energy consumption; The system has a compact structure and a small footprint, which can be processed on-site in the production site; No exhaust emissions, distilled water can be recycled or directly discharged to meet standards; The system is easy to operate, fully automatic control, and remote monitoring.
